Paw Paw community member Kerry Tapper ANNOUNCES RUN FOR STATE HOUSE
“With my years of experience and lessons learned as a mother, small business owner, and community member, I want to be a voice for the people of our uniquely beautiful 39th House District. I plan to listen first, research second, then take it to Lansing, to be a strong voice for each and every member of our community.”
Kerry Tapper is formally announcing today that she is running for State Representative in southwest Michigan’s 39th District. Kerry moved to the district in 1994 and she and her husband John have owned and operated their business here for 29 years. Kerry and John are the proud parents of two adult children who graduated from Paw Paw High School in 2018 and 2020.
“Like so many of you, I've been disheartened to see what is currently occurring in our political climate and what it means for our children, our nieces and nephews and the generations to come. I want to be in a position to make a difference for my family and yours. I feel that together, we can Do Better, Be Better and Find the Balance. I would love the opportunity to earn your vote.”
